Gokarna village

Gokarna is a town in the Uttara Kannada district of Karnataka state, India.
It is a Hindu pilgrimage centre as well as a popular tourist destination. Gokarna is a temple town and is referred to in a number of Hindu historical literature pieces. The main deity is Lord Mahabhaleshwara, a form of the Hindu god Shiva. Around the town lie a number of beaches which serve as a major attraction for travellers. 
It draws both pious pilgrims and hedonistic holiday makers with equal enthusiasm.

Gokarna Weather

Gokarna Weather experiences the southwest monsoon from June to August, following which the weather becomes dry and sunny. The best time to visit Gokarna is from October until March, when the weather is warm and pleasant with temperatures averaging 32 degrees Celsius (90 degrees Fahrenheit).

Kudle and other beaches

Kudle Beach is one of the four beaches south of the small town of Gokarna, on the western coast of India, in the Uttara Kannada district of the Karnataka state.
The five beaches in Gokarna are the Gokarna beach, Kudle, Om, Half moon and Paradise (also known as Full moon). The Gokarna beach forms the coast of the town while the other four beaches lies towards the south of Gokarna. Kudle and Om beach are around 6 km from Gokarna town along a muddy hill; they are accessible by rickshaw or foot. Kudle beach has simple accommodation featuring small huts and cafes during the tourist season.
